Hannah Shearwood

Hannah has been involved in Netball for over 15 years as a player and for over 13 years as a volunteer, coach and umpire. She first got involved in the sport when her PE teacher asked her to play in the local county league, and she hasn’t looked back since!

Hannah is a qualified coach, umpire, and coaching tutor, with experience of coaching in a variety of settings from schools, junior and senior community club environments, and performance pathways, to university development and competition squads. Hannah also umpires in the local junior league, adult county league, and junior regional league.

Netball has given Hannah so much over the years; it has helped her develop professionally, connected her with new friends and colleagues, as well as increase her confidence on and off the court. It is for these reasons that she continues to volunteer as she wants to help provide similar opportunities for other members of the netball community.

Hannah is looking forward to embracing her role as a member on the Regional Management Board, contributing towards the development of netball within our region.
