Laura leads the Volunteering Working Group and has 20 years experience in developing volunteering in charities, social enterprises, clubs, small groups and sport. 

Laura runs a consultancy supporting charities, social enterprises and sports organisations to recruit and support volunteers from a wide range of backgrounds. She has previously worked with organisations including:

• England Netball
• Sport England
• the Vision for Volunteering
• Hockey Futures
• Citizens Advice
• the European Volunteering Agency.

Laura is an experienced committee and board volunteer and was previously a Trustee at a national board recruitment and diversity charity, Getting on Board. She is a board member and volunteering advisory board member at Bramley Elderly Action. She previously played netball at county level as a junior and now plays for two social clubs in West Leeds.
