David joined Yorkshire Netball in late 2024 as Safeguarding Lead.

With a long career in HR in various sectors - he most recently led on HR for an Academy Trust in North Yorkshire. David workis closely with the CEO and Headteachers at the Trust in all areas of HR within secondary & primary education. , He also has experience of working collaboratively with the Trust Board on a variety of areas including governance and safeguarding, and working practically to support school leaders to ensure safeguarding compliance in recruitment & selection and where required operationally.

Now semi-retired - he recently relocated to Scarborough with his wife and daughter where he enjoys running, cycling and the ongoing renovation (!) of their victorian flat.
