Tara started volunteering in Netball after she attended an event run by the Netball Development Officer in 2018 and fell in love with developing the sport and seeing the potential of others. She then worked at England Netball as a Netball Development Officer for South Yorkshire and Humberside.

Tara is excited to be part of Yorkshire Netball and contribute to Netball development within our region. She brings experience from sport development and coaching to elite level sport, from previously working at GB Boxing, London Pulse, the Commonwealth Games and Silverstone for the F1 British Grand Prix.

Over the years, Netball has given her so much for than just a sport. It has enabled her to make friends and connect with others as well as her professional development. She believes everyone should be able to have this opportunity to be part of Netball and wants to give back to the sport
